Dear Members of the Mowbray College family, Well Wishers and Visitors,
Greetings!
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Mowbray College Website. We trust that this online resource will provide all relevant information about Mowbray College, and that as you peruse through the contents of this website, you will get a sense of the rich flavour of life at our school.
I am proud to be the Principal of this prestigious school with a well-respected history of providing exceptional educational outcomes and opportunities for gifted and talented young women since 1922.
We offer a broad curriculum and a range of opportunities for all our girls to achieve excellence in academic, creative, social, cultural, sporting and community endeavours. We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity amongst our girls to effectively allow them to engage in the world of the future, where problem solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating are not only valued concepts, but expected skills, attributes and capabilities.
We set high expectations for our girls and work hard to safeguard positive emotions across our school community. We are partners in learning with our students and seek to deepen their knowledge, provide enriching and innovative learning experiences, while also gently urging our girls out of their comfort zone to attempt new challenges.
I feel proud to express that the school is performing extremely well in all the aspects to ensure academic and human excellence. The clear vision of the management, the systematic approach and implementation of the activities by the administration, commitment and dedication of the teaching and non-teaching staff, co-operation of the parents and the hard work of the students together has branded Mowbray College as a Centre of academic excellence. Our journey towards excellence continues.
In view of the Centenary Year, we have initiated a series of development projects and interventions to upgrade our academic curriculum within the framework of national education policy and the demands of the modern world of work.
Under my leadership, and as a team working together, we strongly promote academic achievement among our students. The cultural, sporting and other successes of all of our students and staff are also proudly celebrated together.
